Holiday
I enjoyed my holiday
In Dartmouth by the sea
I really love to see the boats in the estuary.
Ferries ploughing back and forth for cars and people too
Little yachts and big ones doing what they do.
Walking on the cliffs and visiting estates
And looking at the castles which act like ancient gates!
The weather was much better than we could have expected
And even in occasional rain, we were well protected!
The house we stayed in was superb the company divine
The only thing I wished for was that the bed was mine!
I enjoyed my holiday it filled me with delight
But I’m glad to be back home to have a decent night!
