New Birth
All this talk of deaths and dying is enough to get us down.
It makes me long to see a smile and not a frown!
Spread a little sunshine as you go upon your way.
There up is new birth happening almost every day!
First I saw the ducklings out Upon the water
With the parents guiding every son and daughter.
Then there were the goslings with their mum and dad
And finally the signets that the swans have had.
All the joy and happiness that all us parents seek
Seen upon the lakeside So we can have a peek!
And amid the carnage,of this vile disease,
There is still the good news that is designed to please.
It is not just Boris who’s had a little child,
There are other families with pleasure going wild.
Every little baby gives us cause for joy.
We can truly celebrate each little girl and boy.
So cast off all your worry discard your doom and gloom,
Watch the little miracle of every flower in bloom!
