Have you ever left the house without your blasted phone?
Especially going somewhere where you are on your own?
You feel so very isolated, vulnerable as well.
Did somebody want me? I can’t even tell.
What if I should need someone? No phone box will exist!
And anyway their number is on my contacts list!
This is still the feeling when I forget to pray.
I don’t listen to my Saviour each and every day!
I can make excuses for I do quite a lot
But I know in my conscience that is a load of rot!
But when I remember I know He’s always near
And, if I should need Him, He will always hear.
