Competitive
I am quite competitive! I always try to win.
It really doesn’t matter whatever game I’m in!
I would never try to cheat or sulk if I am beat.
Magnanimous in victory, but gracious in defeat!
I sometimes get despondent if I don’t play too well
Maybe I am getting old, though you could never tell!
I have had my triumphs and disappointments too
But isn’t this what you’d expect in life’s exotic brew?
We have our highs, and also lows, in this lifelong game
But God is with us all the time and loves us just the same.
He really doesn’t care who wins. He never takes a side
The fact He really cares for me fills me full of pride!
