Thankfulness
I spare a little moment to thank my God above
For He has always held me in His arms of love.
In every situation He is always there
Standing right beside me, I’m sheltered in His care.
I have got good reason for praise and thankfulness
I have all I need to eat (in fact I could eat less)!
I have no money worries and I lack for naught
With friends all around me, such fortune can’t be bought
I have a wife who loves me and children I adore
With two lovely grandkids. Who could ask for more?
So I praise my God above with a thankful heart
For all that He has given me from the very start
