Inspiration
I get my inspiration from the beauty that I see
In all of God’s creations surrounding you and me.
I see the ripples following a bird upon the lake
And breathe the winter magic with every step I take.
Though it’s past the autumn, there’s colour all around
I can see the autumn leaves lying on the ground.
Bushes with their coloured branches showing now
And little birds among the trees make a joyous row!
Lines of noble poplars, now without their summer green,
Standing at attention, as if to greet a queen.
There is so much beauty everywhere I roam
And all within a stone’s throw of where I am at home!
