Gripping
I went to get my tyres changed so I won’t lose my grip!
In the winter weather they might cause me to slip!
Any skid or sliding could put me off the road
And I really do not want such an episode!
That just got me thinking! In this earthly stay
Am I safely on the road or have I lost my way?
Do I do the things I should as I go along
or am I really failing and, sadly, going wrong?
Luckily I have a guide who shows the way to go
And though I sometimes go astray, He loves me even so!
Though this awesome journey really takes a toll
I have every confidence that I’ll reach my goal!
