endless explanation
Of
St Paul’s interpretation
Of
how we’ve been redeemed.
Not
as simple as it seemed!
Then
in case we’ve not discerned
What
we really should have learned
Some
worthy worship leader
Or
some qualified lay reader
Will
tell us in their spiel
What
we really ought to feel!
Well
thank heavens that I find
Your
Spirit in my mind
To
guide me on my way
No matter what they say!
