Shining

Jesus bids us shine with a pure clear light

What! With a face like mine? I’m sure I look a sight!

Like a little candle burning in the night

Certainly I flicker, so that just might be right!

In this world of darkness we must shine

But it’s pretty scary, will You see that I am fine?

You in your small corner and I in mine

With your help, my Master, I’ll try to hold the line!
