Celebrations
It’s great that we can celebrate the rising of our Lord
All our Halelujahs are said with one accord.
Amid the celebrations can we spare a thought
For the other people whom Christ’s victory has bought.
It wasn’t just for those of us who spend our time in church
He died that everybody wouldn’t end up in the lurch.
Every human being, no matter what their creed,
Is saved from all their sinning by our Saviour’s noble deed.
Of course we need to tell them of this glorious good news
But we are not to judge them no matter what their views!
God loves His creation and He wants to save us all
And how He ought to do it has never been our call!
So let us all be thankful that Christ died for you and me
And in His resurrection we are truly free.
