Myself (A Mix Of All)
There is no Self in Selfless
There is no self in selfless you have to think of others
You need to recognise the fact that all men are your
brothers.
When you see the plight of those in need, with very little
hope
And those who flee from tyranny and yet still try to cope.
Sometimes you may be there to act and sometimes you can say
There is no thing that we can do except to kneel and pray.
You know you are so fortunate and you have lots to spare
There is no self in selfless and so we ought to share!
There’s Only Self in Selfish
There’s only self in selfish you do not think of others
Except to think that you may be worse off than your brothers
You look at those with lots of dough and very many things
And you’re full of jealousy that only envy brings.
You’re filled with much self-pity and you rail against the
fates
And camp with avariciousness at every rich man’s gate.
You make your life a misery and long for a big break
There’s only self in selfish and that’s your big mistake!
There’s Lots of Love in Lovely
There’s lots of love in lovely that’s why you think of
others
And there is no envy when you see all men as brothers.
You can be glad for every thing that other people own
And sharing from your little is how your love has grown
Just thank God for everything with which you’ve been endowed
And think of all the happy times that you have been allowed.
Show a loving, cheerful face to everyone you see
There’s lots of love in lovely and that’s what you
will be!
